Nuit Noire

Fäerical blasting punk. Less a genre, more an abstract impression of Nuit Noire: Blasting punk – an inimitable mixture of intense drumming and beautifully singular guitars. Natural, unrestrained, atypical vocals sing out in admiration of those Night creatures that light the darkness, aided only by moonlight shadows cast in the forest, hidden from all humanity.

Description

NUIT NOIRE completes re-recording of tracks from the unreleased ‘album’ “Inner Light” (previous instalments were splits with Call me Loretta and Circle of Ouroborus).
Opening the Portal and Faerie Punk (originally Faerie Metal) are the first and last tracks from Inner Light.
Both tracks were recorded Feb-July 2007 during the “fantomatic plenitude” sessions.

HEBV are a gloomy, noisy group inspired by early eighties gothic/post-punk. Their only other release so far has been a 7″ep Fog b/w Das.
“Call” is their darkest song. A sombre fusion of late 70s post-punk with horror-rock style organ & effects!

Description

Todestrieb Records is honoured to present the new album from France’s NUIT NOIRE!!! “Infantile Espieglery” was recorded from January to July 2006. Tenebras (guitar, vocals, and drums) is joined on vocals for the first time by Émilie (also vocalist in Monarch, as Eurogirl).

A childish attitude, sense of alienation from the rest of the adult world. A subject first broached on “La Clairière” (Once Upon a Night… demo 2000), expanded in “Lunar Deflagration”, now most explicit.

Comes sealed, printed on recycled paper with handmade design including all handwritten lyrics on school paper.

A surprise for long time fans of the band is that the album opens with a new recording of one of their earliest songs, “Creatures of the Night” which you may remember from the very first demo “Dans la Nuit”!!

The purist magical Night worshipping Art!

come on, todestrieb, lazy tommy, hurry up and come out with that DEMOS double cd!!! hurry up! taking too long. the british pound is still going alright. hurry up with it. once upon a night is such a killer demo. will be real good to have it on cd. tired of waiting. hurry up, old chap!

  2. Due to the recent gigs and more importantly (for the cds) a hunt for some older photos which may be included in the booklet it has been delayed. The audio is ready, soon as the artwork’s complete it will be pressed, no slacking!
